New changes are coming soon, as we are all aware of Humana being added to Healthy Louisiana list of MCOs. With that being said, they are planning to shift clients and families to other MCOs without providers knowing the changes that are being made. We cannot leave it up to the families to report these changes because many are not even aware that this is happening. We have asked our families and individuals that we are serving if they have received any correspondence about these changes, and they are saying no. To assist providers, it would be nice if Sharenote could add the eligibility check results next to the last date eligibility along with the current MCO that they are assigned to. Just like it shows the client is active at the beginning of client manager ledger, the eligibility status could be listed as active/inactive once checked.

It would give providers the option to research and get with families if it is ineligible. You can see this as soon as you look in client manager. You don't have to look each one up on the client details page. This would be way more time efficient for admin staff and reduce the amount of denied claims due to rapid changes with MCO. We are the last to know when families have changed their insurances sometimes and now it is the MCOs that are making the changes and we will not know until they have made the changes.
